Photography at Vestrahorn

‍Vestrahorn offers endless opportunities for creative photography. Here are some pointers for anyone who is inspired to capture Vestrahorn’s charm.

  • Check the weather forecast before you go and dress accordingly. You don’t want to miss the opportunity because of bad weather conditions.
  • Aim for the golden or blue hour, when the light is soft and warm. Arrive early to find the best spot for your composition.
  • Look for reflections of Vestrahorn on the wet sand or in the lagoon. They can add depth and symmetry to your photos.
  • If you are lucky, you might see the northern lights above Vestrahorn. They can create a stunning contrast as they dance above the jagged peaks of the mountain.
